Você sabe o que é autoestima? Segundo o site Brasil Escola, a autoestima é a apreciação que uma pessoa faz de si mesma em relação à sua autoconfiança e auto respeito, onde através dela podemos enfrentar desafios e defender nossos interesses.
A Master Coach de Mulheres, Márcia Freitas, afirma que a autoestima inclui uma avaliação de si próprio, podendo ser positiva ou negativa. Ainda, fala que após o divórcio algumas mulheres podem ficar com a autoestima comprometida.
“Para entendermos autoestima é interessante pensarmos sobre qual o significado de estima. A estima é o sentimento de apreço e admiração que temos por alguém. Sendo assim, a autoestima é se auto avaliar, é a capacidade de valorizar, apreciar e admirar, ou não, quem somos. É possível ter baixa ou elevada autoestima. O abuso emocional pode ser uma das causas da baixa autoestima. Em uma separação, se a mulher viveu durante o relacionamento uma posição de constantes insultos, agressões verbais, abandono ou traição, possivelmente enfrentará momentos de fragilidade, podendo ocasionar grande impacto na forma como se percebe. Pode enfrentar ainda, o sentimento de rancor, mágoa e vergonha, tendo um grande impacto em autoestima”, diz.
Márcia destaca que não se pode esquecer que algumas mulheres, independentemente de vivenciarem uma separação, vivem a realidade de terem baixa autoestima, e com o divórcio isso pode maximizar. Ela acrescenta que a autoaceitação é parecida com a autoestima, no entanto, está relacionado com o fato de aceitar a si mesmo com as suas qualidades e falhas. É amar quem você é. Amar quem você está se tornando.
“A autoaceitação leva à valorização pessoal, tendo consciência que você tem a oportunidade de se tornar melhor a cada dia, elevando a autoestima”, fala Márcia.
Márcia dá algumas dicas para te ajudar a manter a autoestima elevada após o divórcio:
1. Coloque-se em primeiro lugar.
Se você não se colocar em primeiro lugar as pessoas à sua volta te colocarão em último. Essa acabei de inventar. Após um divórcio você terá que resolver muitas novas situações e precisará estar bem emocionalmente e fisicamente. Ter essa atitude não é ser egoísta, é se cuidar, se valorizar.
2. Olhe-se no espelho e declare seu amor a si mesma
Decida amar-se! “Levante todas as manhãs, olhe-se no espelho e diga “eu te amo”.
O fato de alguém dizer que não te ama mais, não quer dizer que você também deixará de se amar. As pessoas têm o direito de escolher quem elas continuarão amando, por mais que seja difícil de aceitar. No entanto, você precisa decidir amar-setodos os dias!
3. Elimine a culpa, tenha Leveza.
Um dos principais motivos para uma baixa autoestima é o sentimento constante de culpa. Seja por não estar fazendo algo ou por aquilo que foi feito. Perdoe-se sinceramente!
4, Não se compare com os outros, você é única
O mundo em que vivemos é sustentado pela competitividade. Isso nos faz acreditar que nosso próprio sucesso pessoal ou profissional só será alcançado quando superarmos o de outras pessoas. Não se compare com os outros. Você é única e esse é o seu “Super Poder”!
5. Descubra o que te faz bem
Encontre o que você gosta de fazer, o que você sabe fazer bem feito e o que te faz se sentir mais autoconfiante, como praticar um exercício, aprender algo novo, fazer alguma atividade em que você já tem domínio, fazer trabalho voluntário, praticar sua espiritualidade, entre outras ações. Descubra o que funciona para você e volte a isso sempre que sentir sua autoestima diminuindo.
